Speakers Night 2022
The Speakers’ Night is an annual public speaking contest at the European Forum Alpbach that is hosted by Club Alpbach Styria and IG Graz. Having grown in popularity over the years, this event offers a select number of young individuals the opportunity to demonstrate their oratorical skills on a large stage. The theme is specified in advance by the organizers.

All scholarship holders are kindly invited to submit their speech proposal online at
by midnight on Wednesday, 24th August 2022.
The organizing committee selects the applicants to participate in the contest. These speakers are provided the opportunity to attend an exclusive workshop on 27 August from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. Finally, the three-minute speeches will be presented live on stage at the 16th annual Speakers’ Night on 29 August 2022, 8:30 PM. A prominent jury will select the winners based on a point system. In addition, the audience will also get to vote on their favorite speech.
